Santa Patchwork Christmas Card

This card is simple to the naked eye, but once you look a little closer you will see there are many details to this card. It features intricate cuts to fit the perfect layout. Techniques used include, stamping and machine stitching.
 
This card is created using the patchwork theme previously posted (see below for instructions) also used on this card is the Santa from the Quilted Christmas cartridge on page 30.
 
Cut card base to 9" x 6" scored at 4.5"
Cut a scrap piece of paper to 4.25" x 5.75" - this will not be seen.
Piece 1: cut Pattern 1 to 3" x 2.5"
- cut down the center
Piece 2: cut pattern 2 to 3" x 4"
- on back mark at 2.5" on long side
- cut from 2.5" mark to opposite corner
Piece 3: cut pattern 3 to 4.5" x 3.75"
Piece 4: cut pattern 1 to 3" x 4"
- cut diagonally from 3 to 4
Adhere piece 3 to scrap in bottom left corner lengthwise.
Adhere piece 4 to bottom right corner
Adhere piece 2 to top right corner
Adhere piece 1 to top left
Stitch on seams using a zigzag stitch in a color that stands out.
Adhere to card base
Add a mat big enough for a small sentiment, stamp sentiment
Santa
- cut all pieces at 4.5". Add a shadow
- adhere all pieces
- add to foam and adhere to the card front

 
Inside:
Cut pattern paper to 4" x 5.25"
Cut solid mat to 3.5" x 4.75"
Cut 1" x 1" square out of the other two remaining pattern papers - 1 each
Cut diagonally in half
Adhere one pattern to the solid mat in opposite corners
Repeat with the other pattern
