This card offers a unique design to a simple baby bottle. This can be created in any color scheme. This card is 9" x 5.5" scored at 4.5". The bottle is cut from the Baby Steps (BS) cartridge. Here's how to recreate...
Using white card stock cut to size
- Score card and fold.
- Machine stitch with a zigzag 4.5w and .75l about 1/4" in all the way around the front flap in a dark color.
- Stamp the sentiment right on the card base.
Make the bottle using your desired colors, I used pink for the girl and blue for the boy.
- faux dot the bottle and the white where the flower/sailboat is
- apply foam to the back, adhere to the card base
- add liquid pearls to the flower tips and on both g/b the nipple ring slits
- add glossy accents to the sails on the sailboat and the stem of the flower, also add it to both nipples
Inside mat
- dark color 4"x5"
- light color 3.5"x4.5"
- white 3"x4"
- faux stitch the dark with white, the light with a dark color and the white with the dark color
- stamp sentiment inside
This card is simple to the
naked eye, but once you look a little closer you will see there are many
details to this card. It features intricate cuts to fit the perfect layout.

Cut card base to 9" x
6" scored at 4.5"
Cut a scrap piece of paper to
4.25" x 5.75" - this will not be seen.
Piece 1: cut Pattern 1 to
3" x 2.5"
- cut down the center
Piece 2: cut pattern 2 to
3" x 4"
- on back mark at 2.5" on
long side
- cut from 2.5" mark to
opposite corner
Piece 3: cut pattern 3 to
4.5" x 3.75"
Piece 4: cut pattern 1 to
3" x 4"
- cut diagonally from 3 to 4
Adhere piece 3 to scrap in
bottom left corner lengthwise.
Adhere piece 4 to bottom right
corner
Adhere piece 2 to top right
corner
Adhere piece 1 to top left
Stitch on seams using a zigzag
stitch in a color that stands out.
Adhere to card base
Add a mat big enough for a
small sentiment, stamp sentiment
Santa
- cut all pieces at 4.5".
Add a shadow
- adhere all pieces
- add to foam and adhere to the card front
Inside:
Cut pattern paper to 4" x
5.25"
Cut solid mat to 3.5" x
4.75"
Cut 1" x 1" square
out of the other two remaining pattern papers - 1 each
Cut diagonally in half
Adhere one pattern to the
solid mat in opposite corners
Repeat with the other pattern

- cut down the center
Piece 2: cut pattern 2 to 3" x 4"

Piece 4: cut pattern 1 to 3" x 4"
- cut diagonally from 3 to 4
Adhere piece 3 to scrap in bottom left
corner lengthwise.
Adhere piece 4 to bottom right corner
Adhere piece 2 to top right corner
Adhere piece 1 to top left
Cut the base enough so there is about ¼”
from the bottom of the card base, room for a single line sentiment.
Stitch on seams using a zigzag stitch in a color
that stands out and adhere to card base.
Stamp the sentiment.
Inside:
Cut pattern paper to 4" x 5.25"
Cut solid mat to 3.5" x 4.75"
Cut 1" x 1" square out of the
other two remaining pattern papers - 1 each
Cut diagonally in half
Adhere one pattern to the solid mat in
opposite corners
Repeat with the other pattern
