Pink Bunny

This little bunny will make any little girls Easter! She is made from two hearts, two large circles, 1 medium circle, and 3 small circles. The ears are upside down leaves all cut from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I added a pink ribbon to the top. I used Swiss dot embossing folder on the pink in the ears, face and nose.

Back to School 12x12 layout

This layout has all the "bells and whistles" for going back to school. It has space for 3 - 4x4" photos. The bus and glue were cut from the Nate's ABC cartridge at 4". The paint, pencil, and scissors were cut from the Nate's ABC cartridge at 3". The apple was cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge at 3".

The black mat is 12x12", white is 11.75x11.75", the pattern mat is 11.5x11.5". Each border strip is cut at 1.5", and the black border is 1" with an eyelet lace border punch. The border and the black mat are faux stitched in white. Each embellishment is faux stitched as well and popped up on foam.

The photo frame mats are white at 4.5x4.5", black at 4.25x4.25" and the pattern paper is 4x4".
The title is cut from the Varsity Letters cartridge at 1.25" and adhered flat to the page.

I added glossy accents to the bus windows, the apple, the water in the paint cup and the bolt on the scissors.

Astronaut and Rocket Birthday Card

This card features an Astronaut who just got dropped off at the moon to explore. There are many techniques used in the card, from chalking, faux stitching to foam pop-ups to add dimension. Here's how to recreate...

The card base is 9" x 6", scored and folded at 4.5". The card opens upward

The cloud mat is 4" x 5.5"
I faux stitched the card base on the edges and edges of mat

I cut the Astronaut and rocket from the B is for Boy cartridge at 3"

I cut a 4” circle for the moon from the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge, and embossed it with the "spots and dots" cuttlebug folder

I added some gray chalk to moon to make it more realistic and adhered it flat to card in the corner, cut off access moon

I added foam to both the rocket and astronaut, and adhered them to card
I Stamp the “Happy Birthday” sentiment directly to the pattern mat, you could also stamp on a solid colored base and adhere it to the card if your pattern paper is darker.

Inside:
Pattern mat is 4" x 5.5" and the white mat is 3.5" x 5"
I chalked the edges of the white mat and adhered it to the mat and then to the card.
I faux stitched the card and mat edges, then stamped the sentiment inside "may all your wishes come true".  To finish it up I added blue dots to the white mat edges.
